Closing programmes 2014-20

Programme closure is a formal process to complete and end a programme. Core tasks include: closing the accounts; reporting on the activities and achievements of the programme, including a review of the performance targets; and providing formal overview reports on other subjects such as evaluation.

Where to start

The Commission guidance on programme closure offers the best starting point on this subject.

The core tasks were also explored in a Webinar organised by Interact (link to follow).

What we are working on

A session at the Interreg Knowledge Fair will explore the differences in closing 2014.2020, particularly in comparison to closing 2007-2013.

The network meeting of certifying authorities and the bodies performing the accounting function is planned for late spring.
