Technical assistance

Technical assistance (TA) is the part of programme budget which finance the programme management and implementation structures.

It is used for programme staff; processes for administration; monitoring and evaluation; communication activities; audit and control; as well as activities of national contact points, if existing,

TA covers all costs incurred by different programme bodies for the management and administration of the programme.

The HIT factsheet on Technical Assistance sets out the foundations of Technical Assistance. Your own programme documents will set out the flat rate that applies, which is determined by your programme strand, budget and ERDF contribution.
